OUR VISION
About Us
On January 15th 2016, 16 Brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Chartered the Rho Epsilon Sigma Graduate Chapter servicing the New York City Area of New York State. This momentous event represents the continued legacy of Brotherhood amongst some of New York’s most socially influential and professionally affluent men. The Charter Members of this new Alumni Chapter have diverse professions including Military, Legal, Real Estate Brokers, Bankers, Investors, Entrepreneurs, IT and much more. Our Chapter is 1 that has emerged because there was a need for a new direction and advancement of Sigma in NYC. We will Service the NYC Community and navigate all challenges ahead as Men of Sigma with the poise, intent, and conscious vision toward change for the better.
Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. is an active, dynamic International Social and Service Organization of various Collegiate and Professional Men united in Our Cause to bring more Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service to Our World. Upon being founded on January 9, 1914 at Howard University, the Fraternity has provided 104 years of Service to Communities through its 700 Chapters Worldwide. The official motto of the Fraternity, “Culture for Service and Service for Humanity", is demonstrative of the outward focus of Sigma in Serving the Community by working as a part of the Community and not apart from the Community. Because of the Inclusive Nature of Our Organization, we have become deservedly tagged with the nickname of "The People's Fraternity".
OUR MISSION
